After my wedding three years ago, I came down with awful withdrawals. Craft withdrawals.
During the wedding process, I had come across tons of themes and ideas, and it was really frustrating for me to not be able to use it all. So I decided to open up my own etsy shop and sell wedding and party-related invitations, that way I could unleash all the inspiration that I had collected while planning my own big day. All my designs are digital downloads, which means that I customize them with your event details, and you can print them however you want, which is usually way cheaper than ordering them pre-made.
So that’s about the shop. Let’s talk about the glitter.
While out at the beach one day, we ran into a local friend who rents out his beach home as a vacation rental. During the conversation, someone made the joke, “those bachelor parties that come in must be messy!” The owner laughed, and then explained it’s not the guys that are the messy ones — it’s the girls.
Excuse me? We’re clean. We’re organized. Or at least we clean up after ourselves. This had to be a mistake.
But then the owner elaborated, “it’s not the trash or the food — it’s the GLITTER. The glitter is EVERYWHERE.”
Glitter and bachelorette parties go hand-in-hand. We wear it. We throw it. We dress the bride up in tacky items coated in it. And it’s wonderful.
And the invitation should be no exception — unless you’re putting actual glitter in the envelope. That’s just mean.
This is one of my most popular designs, and I think it’s so fun and perfect for girls night out. Check it out in my etsy shop!
